water supply system through pipe line has been implemented at different upazila in dinajpur district. due to water supply through pipe lines prerogative of water supply ensured among people. 33039 water points are functioning in this district. as per base line survey sanitation progress was 18.28% in 2003 where current rate is 87.43%. as a result life of people becomes improved and wateborne diseases are rarely found today.
